The Grutzmacher Museum

The American Indian Collection

The Grutzmacher Museum features an extensive Native American Collection.  The collection consists of artifacts from three different collectors.  The Arthur Grutzmacher collection focuses on stone objects and projectiles and trade beads.  The Richard Bryant collection includes head dresses, beadwork, and pipes.  The Charles Schoewe collection consists of beadwork moccasins and other objects.  The collections are extensive, and the display notes the different regions where the objects were found.
